Vilanova Reserva Terms of Use
Last updated: September 10, 2026
1. Who we are
Vilanova Reserva is a service provided by:
Provider: Emmanuel Godino Arnaldo, trading under the business name Intragents Tax ID (NIF): 48029809J Address: Carrer de la Llibertat 30, 08800 Vilanova i la Geltrú (Barcelona), Spain Contact email: info@intragents.com Website: www.vilanovareserva.com
By using the app or the website you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, do not use them. It is that simple and there is no small print behind it.
2. What this is, and what it is not
Vilanova Reserva is where you browse the restaurants in your town and book a table, without phoning and at any hour.
The important thing to understand: we are not the restaurant. We provide the place where the booking is made, but the people who feed you, who set their prices, their opening hours and their menu, and who answer for how they treat you, are the restaurant. Your booking is an agreement between you and them. We pass it on and manage it.
We charge diners nothing. Not for booking, not for cancelling, not for registering. Whatever you pay at the restaurant you pay there and to them.
3. Who can use it
You need to be 18 or over to hold an account and to book. A booking is a commitment to a business, and we would rather it was made by an adult.
A minor coming to eat with you is another matter, and of course they can. What they cannot be is the person making the booking.
The details you give us have to be true, especially your name and phone number: they are what the restaurant uses to reach you if something happens with your table. You can book for other people, but the booking and these terms are yours.
4. Your account
You can book without an account. We only ask for your name and phone number. If you also leave us your email, you will be able to retrieve that booking later and we will be able to ask you to review it.
With an account you get more: your history, your favourites, your preferences, push notifications and the ability to review with a written comment.
There is no password to sign in, ever. You can do it in three ways: with a one-time code we send to your email, with your Google account, or with your Apple account if you use an iPhone. Whichever you pick, we neither see nor store any password of yours.
That code is yours and yours alone: do not pass it to anyone. We will never call or write to you asking for that code. If someone does, it is a scam.
You can close your account whenever you want from inside the app, without writing to us or waiting for anyone to answer. Doing so deletes your profile, your preferences and your published reviews.
5. Booking
A booking is not made until we confirm it. Until you see the confirmation, no table is held.
Arrive on time. Each restaurant decides how long it waits. If you are going to be late, tell the venue directly.
Cancelling is free and is done from the app or from your booking link. Please cancel as soon as you know you are not going. An empty table nobody has released is lost money for a small business in your town.
If you do not show up and do not warn anyone, the restaurant can note it in its book. That note is theirs and only they can see it. We keep no blacklist, we do not share that mark with other restaurants and we do not block you over it. A restaurant, like any business, can decide for itself whose booking it accepts.
Restaurants can cancel. It happens: a breakdown, something unforeseen, a miscalculated capacity. If it does, we tell you as soon as we know.
Some restaurants have their own booking system. In those cases we take you to it to finish, and you will see that you are leaving our app. Whatever happens there is governed by that other company’s terms.
6. Restaurant information
The photos, the menu, the opening hours and the prices are provided by each restaurant, which answers for them. We do what we can to keep everything up to date, but we cannot guarantee that a dish will be available or that a price will be exact on the day you go.
If you see something wrong on a restaurant’s page, tell us and we will take it up with them.
How the list is ordered, and what happens if someone pays to be featured
We tell you this because you have a right to know why you see one restaurant before another.
Today the list is in alphabetical order, within the town you are looking at and any search or filters you have set. No restaurant pays to sit higher up, and the review rating does not change the order either.
A restaurant may pay to appear featured in the future. If that day comes, these three rules apply:
- You will see it marked as sponsored, visibly and not in small print.
- We will say so here, in this same section, explaining what the payment affects.
- Paying does not change a restaurant’s reviews or rating, and it gives no access to any data about you that it would not have had anyway.
If we ever change how the list is ordered, this section changes with it.
7. What you may do, and what you may not
Use the service normally and do not do this:
- Book tables with no intention of going, or book in bulk to block a venue.
- Impersonate another person or give false details.
- Use the service to advertise, sell something or find customers.
- Try to get in where you should not, copy the database, scrape the listings automatically, or bring the service down.
- Upload content that insults, threatens, discriminates against or infringes anyone’s rights.
8. Content you upload
What you write or upload stays yours. By publishing it you give us permission to show it inside the service, under your account name, for as long as the content is published. We do not sell it, we do not hand it to anyone for their advertising, and we do not use it outside the service without asking you.
You answer for what you publish. If it is not yours, or you do not have the right to publish it, do not upload it.
9. How reviews work
How reviews work
Only someone who has booked a restaurant through Vilanova Reserva, with their name, surname and email, can review it, and only once the booking time has passed. We do not buy reviews, we do not commission them and we do not write them ourselves.
No restaurant can delete, edit or block a review about itself. It can see them all and it can complain to us, but the decision to take one down is ours alone.
Your review is published under your account name. There are no anonymous reviews.
What we can verify and what we cannot. We know you made the booking. We cannot know whether you actually sat down at the table. That is why we treat two cases differently, and we would rather tell you than dress it up:
- Verified reviews. Those that come from the app, or from the website with an account that has used the app at some point. We can link them to a real device. They count towards the restaurant’s rating and they can carry a comment.
- Unverified reviews. Those we cannot link to any real device: the ones that come from the website with an account that has never used the app, and those from people who booked without creating an account. These do not allow a written comment, so no text of theirs is published. And of these, only 4 and 5 star reviews raise the rating. Those of 1, 2 and 3 stars are stored and the restaurant sees them, but they do not lower the rating. The reason is that, since we cannot verify who left them, we also cannot rule out that someone is using them to damage a restaurant.
The rating always appears next to the number of reviews behind it, so you can see how many opinions it comes from. A 5 from one review and a 4.6 from two hundred do not mean the same thing, and we want you to be able to tell them apart at a glance.
If we find that a restaurant is reviewing itself or commissioning reviews, we remove it from the platform. And if you see a review that should not be there, you can report it from the review itself.
Before publication, there is a filter
Your review is published on its own, without anyone reading it first. Before it becomes visible it goes through an automatic filter that looks for specific things: insults, phone numbers, email addresses, links and a few more content rules.
If the filter holds it back, the review is not deleted. It stays stored and you can still see it. The restaurant sees it in its management panel too, because it is information about their venue. What it does not do is get published: it does not appear on the restaurant’s page, other people do not see it, and it does not count towards the rating.
Harsh adjectives are allowed. Saying a place struck you as bad, expensive or dirty is your opinion and it gets published. What does not get published is an insult aimed at a person.
If you think the filter got your review wrong, write to us and a person will review it.
You can change your name, but not every day
The name you sign with is frozen on publication. You can change it once every ninety days.
If you delete your account
Your reviews stop being published and disappear from the restaurant’s page. The rating is recalculated without them.
10. If you break the rules
We can take content down, suspend your account or close it if you break these terms. If it is something minor, we warn you first. If it is serious (fraud, impersonation, an attack on the service), we act straight away.
If we close your account by mistake or you think we have overreacted, write to us: we look at it again and a person answers you.
11. Brand and content
The Vilanova Reserva name, the logo, the design of the app and the website and their code are ours. You may use the service, not copy it.
Each restaurant’s brands, logos and photos belong to that restaurant.
12. What we answer for and what we do not
We answer for the service working as described here and for our own mistakes. As a consumer, you have every right the law gives you, and nothing we say here takes those away.
We do not answer for what the restaurant does: the food, the service, the price, whether it honours your booking or the state of the venue. That is theirs. If you have a problem, the first step is to talk to them. Tell us as well: it is information we use to decide who stays on the platform.
We do not answer for what other users write in their reviews, beyond taking down whatever breaks these rules once it reaches us.
The service can go down. We do what we can to keep it always available, but we do not promise it will never fail. If it goes down, we cannot compensate you for not being able to book, although we will do what we can to let you know.
13. If you want to list your restaurant
The website has a form to apply for your venue to join Vilanova Reserva. This is the only section of these terms addressed to a restaurant, and it does not replace the contract: it only governs the application.
- Only someone with authority to represent the business may fill it in.
- The details we ask for (tax details, a contact, the address, the town and who will administer the account) have to be real and up to date.
- The box accepting these terms and the Privacy Policy has to be ticked. Without ticking it, the application is not sent.
- The form is protected against automated submissions.
- Sending an application gives no right to join. A restaurant is not published automatically: we check the details and decide. We can reject an application, and we can also remove a venue that is already in if it turns out the details were not true.
- Until a contract is signed there is no service and no commitment on our side.
14. Changes
We can change the service and these terms. If the change is significant, we tell you beforehand through the app or by email. If you do not like it, you can close your account. Continuing to use the service after it takes effect means you accept it.
15. Governing law and questions
Spanish law applies.
If you are a consumer and there is a dispute we cannot resolve by talking, you can go to the courts where you live. You can also use the European Union’s online dispute resolution platform.
We are not signed up to any consumer arbitration scheme.
16. Languages
These terms are available in Spanish, Catalan and English. The Spanish version is the reference one if there is ever any difference between them.
17. Contact
For anything at all: info@intragents.com. A person answers.
